How to Reset an Electrolux Tumble Dryer

A reset can clear temporary electronic faults and restore normal operation.

🔄 Note — A reset clears temporary faults caused by power interruptions or control board issues. It will not fix mechanical or electrical failures. If the same error code returns after resetting, the underlying fault needs to be investigated.

How to Reset Your Electrolux Tumble Dryer

Turn the tumble dryer off using the power button.

Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow the internal electronics to fully discharge and reset.

Plug the tumble dryer back into the power socket.

Turn the appliance back on. If the fault was temporary, the tumble dryer should return to normal operation.

Extended reset for error code E70
If your tumble dryer is displaying error code E70, Electrolux recommend leaving the appliance unplugged for a minimum of 2 hours before plugging it back in. This allows the control electronics to fully reset.
