How to Reset an Electrolux Dishwasher

A reset can clear temporary electronic faults and restore normal operation.

🔄 Note — A reset clears temporary faults caused by power interruptions or control board issues. It will not fix mechanical or electrical failures. If the same error code returns after resetting, the underlying fault needs to be investigated.

How to Reset Your Electrolux Dishwasher

1

Turn the dishwasher off using the power button.

2

Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

3

Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow the internal electronics to fully discharge and reset.

4

Plug the dishwasher back into the power socket.

5

Turn the appliance back on and select a new programme. If the fault was temporary, the dishwasher should return to normal operation.

Extended reset for error code i90
If your dishwasher is displaying error code i90, Electrolux recommend disconnecting the appliance from the power supply for a minimum of 2 hours before restarting. This allows the control electronics to fully reset.
When will a reset not fix the problem?
If the error code returns after resetting, the appliance has a specific fault that requires further investigation. Use the error code guide below to identify the fault and find out what checks you can carry out before calling an engineer.
