What the F01 Error Code Means
The F01 error code indicates that the washing machine has not filled with enough water within approximately 4 minutes of the cycle starting. The machine stops the programme as a precaution. Common Reasons This Error Appears
Water supply tap turned off or not fully open
The most common cause. If the tap supplying water to the machine is closed or only partially open, the machine will not fill quickly enough.
Kinked or blocked inlet hose
A kinked, twisted or blocked water inlet hose can restrict water flow into the machine.
Blocked inlet filter
A small mesh filter is located inside the water inlet valve connection at the back of the machine. This can become clogged with debris from the water supply over time.
Low water pressure
If household water pressure is unusually low, the machine may not fill at the required rate within the time limit.
Drain hose positioned too low
If the drain hose end is positioned less than 60cm above the bottom of the machine, water can siphon back out as it fills, preventing the correct level from being reached.
Faulty water inlet valve
If the inlet valve has failed it may not open correctly to allow water to flow into the drum.

Check the water supply tap
Ensure the tap supplying the washing machine is fully open.
Check the inlet hose
Inspect the water inlet hose at the back of the machine for any kinks or bends that could be restricting water flow. Straighten if necessary.
Clean the inlet filter
Turn off the water supply tap. Disconnect the inlet hose from the back of the machine. Inside the connection point on the machine you will find a small mesh filter — remove it carefully and rinse under running water to clear any debris. Refit and reconnect the hose securely.
Check the drain hose height
Ensure the end of the drain hose is positioned between 60cm and 100cm above floor level to prevent siphoning.
Restart the washing machine
After completing the above checks, switch the machine off, wait a few minutes, switch back on and restart the programme.
