How to Reset a Hisense Dishwasher

A reset can clear temporary electronic faults and restore normal operation.

🔄 Note — A reset will not repair mechanical or electrical failures. It resolves temporary glitches caused by power interruptions or control board issues. If the error code returns after resetting, the machine has a specific fault that needs diagnosing.

How to Reset Your Hisense Dishwasher

1

Switch the dishwasher off using the power button.

2

Switch off at the mains socket and unplug the machine from the wall.

3

Leave the machine unplugged for at least 2 minutes. This allows the control electronics to fully discharge and reset.

4

Plug the machine back in and switch on at the mains socket.

5

Switch the machine on, select your programme and start the cycle. If the fault was temporary, the dishwasher should return to normal operation.

Alternative reset method
On some Hisense dishwasher models, pressing and holding the Start/Reset button for 3 seconds will cancel the current programme and reset the machine. This can be used instead of a full power reset for minor faults. Check your user manual for model-specific instructions.
When will a reset not fix the problem?
If the same error code appears after the reset, it indicates an underlying issue that requires further investigation. Some codes such as E1, E2, E3 and E5 have user checks you can carry out before calling an engineer. Others indicate technical faults that require professional attention.
