Common Causes
Water supply tap turned off
The tap supplying the dishwasher must be fully open. It is usually located under the kitchen sink.
Kinked or blocked inlet hose
If the water inlet hose is kinked or blocked, water cannot flow into the machine.
Blocked inlet filter
A small mesh filter at the water inlet valve can become clogged with debris, restricting water flow.
Faulty water inlet valve
If the inlet valve has failed, water will not enter the machine even if the supply is fully open.
Faulty float switch (anti-flood device)
Some dishwashers have a float switch in the base that prevents filling if water is detected in the base tray.

Check the inlet hose
