How to Reset an AEG Washing Machine

A reset can clear temporary electronic faults and restore normal operation.

🔄 Note — A reset clears temporary faults caused by power interruptions or control board issues. It will not fix mechanical or electrical failures. If the same error code returns after resetting, the underlying fault needs to be investigated.

How to Reset Your AEG Washing Machine

Turn the washing machine off using the power button.

Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow the internal electronics to fully discharge and reset.

Plug the washing machine back into the power socket.

Turn the appliance back on. If the fault was temporary, the washing machine should return to normal operation.
