How to Reset an LG Tumble Dryer

If your LG tumble dryer is displaying an error code or not responding correctly, performing a reset can sometimes clear temporary electronic faults and restore normal operation.

A reset will not repair mechanical problems, but it can help resolve temporary glitches caused by power interruptions or control board issues.

How to Reset an LG Tumble Dryer

  1. Turn the tumble dryer off using the power button.
  2. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  3. Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow the internal electronics to fully reset.
  4. Plug the tumble dryer back into the power socket.
  5. Turn the appliance back on.

If the issue was caused by a temporary fault, the tumble dryer may now operate normally.

When a Reset Will Not Fix the Problem

If the error code returns after resetting the appliance, this usually indicates a specific fault that requires further troubleshooting.
